Ride with Revolution Rail 2023 - Double
A DOUBLE bike holds 2 riders.
Your reservation is for our Stony Creek, Warrensburg Run
This majestic 9 mile round trip between our Thurman depot in the shadow of Hickory Mountain takes riders along the backwaters of the Hudson River as it widens and fills this Adirondack valley. Wildlife is often spotted, and many seasonal wildflowers may be seen. At the halfway point we’ll use the former Stony Creek platform where riders disembark into the vibrant 1000 Acre Ranch to enjoy the property and relax while our bikes are set for the scenic return trip.
Your trip will take about 2 hours, and we will go out and come back as a group. Every railbike has a basket on it (approx. 18” x 24”) to hold your gear. We recommend you bring a camera, beverages/snacks (no glass bottles please), sunscreen, insect repellent, and appropriate outerwear for the season and forecast (hats, windbreakers, rain gear, closed-toe shoes, etc.).
Sadly, and for safety reasons, we need to remind you that we do not allow pets on the railbike trips, nor can we allow loose lap babies. There is a 300lb weight limit per seat
Weather
We run our trips rain or shine, unless dangerous weather conditions are occurring or imminent, based on the judgment of Revolution Rail Co. Please be prepared for any weather conditions. If we cancel a tour because of dangerous weather conditions, riders will get full refunds. As this Americade trip is booked through a third party, you will need to speak with them about cancellations and refunds.
