This may ride may provide the most impressive Adirondack views of any of our rides. You'll ride north, deep into the Adirondacks, passing by peaks whose size only grows the deeper you ride into this incredible state park. On good days, in the distance you'll see mountain climbers hanging from rock faces above, and thin waterfalls vaporizing as they fall hundreds of feet. You'll ride up the Whiteface Memorial Highway to the pinnacle (your toll is included in the tour). From the nearly 5,000' summit, you can see Canada and New Hampshire! A small elevator will take you from the parking lot to the summit, thanks to President Roosevelt's demand that the summit be wheelchair accessible. Lunch is at AAA Four Diamond award winning inn, providing the perfect authentic Adirondack experience. You'll be wowed by the beauty of the inn, the views, and the food. ~175 mi R-T
